Time Passages, Connections Constant

It was the Fall semester of my Freshman Year, September 1986, when I started working for Dining Services at Penn.  I met a lot of new people, and one was the Asst. Purchasing Director, who was pregnant with her first child. And, today, on the 255th day of 2015, 9/12/15, 29 years later, I attended the wedding of that first child of the woman who became a colleague, a mentor, and a true friend. And her daughter became a caretaker and mentor for my own girls.  What everlasting connections, on display, through all of the passages of time.  It was an amazing night....and these 29 years have gone so fast and, yet, so much has happened.  But through it all, the connections were constant.  And for that, I am blessed and pleased!
