The 273rd Day of 2015 was a humid, rainy one. And, although I struggled with that today (of course it had to be a day I had to walk all over campus to meetings), my eyes were on the evening prize on 9/30/15. Sarah was working late at Student Health so I had to make sure the kids got to all the places they needed to get. Thanks to friends, some weather cancellations, and relatively light traffic on my way home, we were successful! The final event on Wednesday evening is always piano lessons for Anna and Alexa. I love that they are still so dedicated to the piano and are developing under the teachings of Ms. Anna. I love how hearing them, connects me to the piano teaching when I was their ages. And I LOVE LOVE how their playing of the piano connects them to my mom and Sarah's mom. When they get excited to play their new pieces for their family, it makes my heart sing as well. Music is so, so important, and, every Wednesday evening, it is illuminated for me.
