(Dis)Connection

9/7/2015, the 250th day of 2015, is Labor Day.  A day to honor the labor movement in the United States which has created the environment that many of us benefit from today.  40-hour work week, vacations, the weekend, holidays, OK, maybe not as much as in some other nations, but I still feel connected to the work and struggle they endured.  But, the major connection I realized today was the lack of any connections as we stayed at home and enjoyed a rare, nothing-to-do day.  A nice day to recharge for the connections of the coming week.
