This picture here, taken on the 247th day of 2015, is the reason why I love where I work. 9/4/2015 was the 50th birthday of one of my amazing colleagues at Penn. And on the stairs right here are the multitude of Student Affairs (OSL) colleagues that came out to celebrate with him tonight. From near and from far, people came to celebrate with their former and current colleagues. It was an amazing celebration and it was awesome to see all the connections forged (and re-connected) tonight. Say what you will about student affairs, it definitely connects and binds you to your colleagues, for life!
