Stay at Home Connections

The 271st day of 2015 (9/29/15) was the last day that our schedule was affected by the Pope. Because we unsure of the status of our commute to Philly, Sarah took the day off and I got permission to work from home.  It was a really nice time.  Sarah did errands and shepherded kids (ours and others from the neighborhood) around to where they needed to be and I worked from home, got to eat lunch with my wife, and was very relaxed.  It was a perfect time in the project for me to be home and I actually connected with some tasks better, from home, in a more relaxed setting and was quite productive. Meanwhile, it was nice to have a rare workday where Sarah and I were connected by more than just email and text!  Back to the grind tomorrow, but inspired by the Pope's weekend visit and his message, and refreshed from a nice change of workday pace today.
