I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM! And, 9/18/15, the 261st day of 2015, was the Annual Fall Ice Cream Social at our kids' school. And Sarah and I have run this for the past many years (at least the last 6-7 years), and I realized tonight why I enjoy it so much. A young student was questioning why we call this event a social. Her mom told her to ask me. And I replied, "because you get your ice cream, and then you speak with other people and talk and laugh." In this case (and in many other cases), ice cream connects! And, if you can enjoy a tasty treat AND connect, well, it's a pretty good night then, isn't it?
