Pet Conections

1/11/15 - Day #11 of connected 2015 and, today, I could not get our pets out of my mind.  Not sure if it is because I get awoken by our cat, Talia, walking across me, asking to be fed.  Or maybe it's the joy with which we are welcomed by Skylar, our dog, when we arrive home (especially after a week in Disney).  Or maybe it is reflecting on those pets that are no longer with us, especially the recently departed Faye and Sprinkle (our hamster who died while we were away).  Pets are definitely a connecting factor in our lives.  Not only the connections they foster between us, as owners, and them as pets, but also the connections between us as a family as we take care of and interact with them.  I have always loved animals and I am glad my family shares my love for them.
