11/15/15, the Ides of November 2015, was day #319 of the Year of Connections. And this morning, in Church, there was a strong focus on the choices we make in life and how that defines our lives, our values, our beliefs. Yes, it is Stewardship season at Church, so we did discuss the choices we make with our time, talent, and treasure, but what I appreciated the most about today's sermon was the connection you can make between our spending choices and the important things in our lives. Pastor Michael suggested that we look at our credit card statements and see what those transactions say about our values and choices. Well, I did look at mine, and there are a lot of transactions to support my kids, to support my community groups, to support my church, and a few meals out with my family. Family, Community, Church.....these are connections I feel good being connected to!
