I attended a Board of Education (BOE) meeting on the 321st day of 2015. 3....2.....1....CONNECT! And, on 11/17/15 I connected at this meeting. We heard, once again, how wonderful the artist-in-residence was for the school last week and I got to see the mural in the hallway, in person! But I also connected it to the school's strategic plan that was ALSO discussed at the meeting tonight. Art connects as it educates...and it educates far more than on the surface. I am so glad my kids go to a school where the teachers, administration, and school board/district value the arts!
