On the 199th day of 2015, we spent most of the day on Long Beach Island. On 7/18/15, we traveled to LBI to pick up Alexa from Surf City. The weather report on this day informed us of impending storms, so we did not think we'd have a long stay on the beach. But, the promised storms never arrived and we ended up having a nice stay. And, as I sat there, relaxing and conversing with friends, I felt connected to when my family came to LBI in MY childhood. And I also enjoyed watching Anna and Alexa playing together in the surf and in the sand. Classic connections, both of these, and all on a wonderful beach day!
