On the 281st day of 2015 (10/18/15), we wrapped up the Fall 2015 Leadership Weekend. As I reflect back on the past 48 hours, I realize that, liking connections so much, what I am striving to do every day is to be a connector. Connecting people to each other, connecting people to resources to assist, connecting people with content (in the case of educational endeavors), and connecting WITH people. As I was searching for quotes to represent how I feel, I came upon this one and it is almost perfect. i DO try to be a connector in students' lives, in the lives of my neighbors in my community, in my fellow church congregants, and even, sometimes, in my own family. Connecting is important to me and being a connector is an aspiration!
