To be narrow of mind if you're young at heart"
On the 293rd Day of 2015, 10/20/2015, these were the lyrics playing as I pulled into the parking garage. And I thought about how I have chosen to connect to my community here at home: The Little League, OMAYSC, work in the School, these are all things I love and enjoy and feel strongly about doing so that kids' lives can be better. And I think it is because, when working for the betterment of kids, I can connect to my own childhood and have fun, it was a simpler time then. But, most importantly, I really connect to the lyrics. Because we should all connect to the time when we were less narrow of mind, in our childhoods, when everything seemed possible and we saw the good in people and things and places. I spent the evening, with Claudia, preparing for Red Ribbon Week, but it's a labor of love when you can connect to being young at heart!
