I was off of work on the 93rd day of the year, 4/3/2015, and it is Good Friday. And it rained. I always feel a spiritual connection on rainy Good Fridays. To me, it's as if God's tears are covering the Earth on a day we remember the ultimate sacrifice. I have to admit (and you probably all know, so this is not a shock to many) that I much prefer the pageantry of Palm Sunday and the joy of Easter to the solemnity of Good Friday....but, as the quote goes, into each life, rain must fall...and the sadness we experience today just illuminates the contrast of the happiness we will experience Sunday.....
